If they ignore basic questions or reply with copy pasted text, I become suspicious. Price is important to me, but quality and comfort are even more important in the long run. Sometimes I even measure an existing frame with a ruler before ordering anything new.

Loose hinges make the glasses slide down the nose again and again. Price is important to me, but quality and comfort are even more important in the long run. I like when a shop clearly shows PD, lens height and bridge width in millimeters. Forums, blogs and communities create a kind of collective memory for shoppers.
